Children are important to CrossWay Church. We do all we can to protect our kids (all our volunteers have had state background checks) and train them to follow the Lord. We feel our activities need to be fun and creative too!
| Sunday Ministries: We offer ministries from infant - 5th Grade. | ||

Nursery for Infants -Preschool: We have a supervised child care area (a nursery) for kids ages infant -preschool during our worship services. Parents can drop their kids off before the service and pick them up after the service is finished. We will come and get you if the need arises. We realize that some parents prefer to keep their kids with them during the entire service. Tthat is fine as well. |

| Junior Church: Elementary Age Kids (K-5th Grade): Our elementary age kids attend the first part of the worship service with their parents. After the congregation sings a kid's song with them, they are dismissed and leave for their own teaching time. We use What's In the Bible video curriculum. It was created by Phil Vischer, the Creator of the VeggieTales. Each session begins with singing time and a Bible story presentation for the whole group. The kids break into smaller groups based on their ages to connect with their leaders and make crafts, or play games that help them dive deeper into the lesson. |

The Barnyard: CrossWay Church hosts the kids' tent at Salmon Creek Farmer's Market during the summer! Each week, we provide a craft for the kids to do at our booth and some suggestions for things to do with their parents at home as well. Occasionally, we will break out a bounce house too. Click here to learn more about the Barnyard and see our craft ideas archive. Fun Events: CrossWay Church has also sponsored numerous carnival style events throughout the school year. We usually host these events in the Salmon Creek Elementary gym. Participants can jump in the bounce house and play games to get tickets for prizes. We also hosted a soccer camp one summer too! |
