This fall, CrossWay Church will use Phil Vischer’s (the Creator of VeggieTales) What’s In the Bible? Curriculum for our Junior Church. Junior Church is our elementary kids ministry that meets during the 2nd half of the worship service (from before the sermon to the end of the service).
Each lesson aims to teach children more than just Bible stories, but how all the little stories fit together to tell one BIG story of God and what He’s done for us.
Each week the kids will . . .
1) Sing some of their favorite songs in the large group.
2) Watch the What’s In the Bible Curriculum Lesson.
3) Break into small group (with other kids their age) for more crafts, activities and games that reinforce the lesson.
Families can interact with the What’s in the Bible? characters, videos, and lessons online. There are activities and a weekly “Big Question” to help parents know what their kids are learning and give families ways to learn more about the Bible together!
