1 Peter: Suffering Well

1 Peter Sermon Series

We all face some type of trials in our life. It may be financial struggles, relational strains, or new challenges that seem overwhelming. How can we let these challenges cause us grow rather than lead to our ruin?

Peter was volatile and impulsive. On his worst days, he bossed Jesus around and denied even knowing him. Peter’s life was filled with trials and failures, yet he began to grow and change. Peter shows that by God’s grace anyone can become a servant of Jesus. In Peter, we see a normal disciple. Someone who really loves Jesus. Someone who really sins. Someone with whom God is patient as he grows and matures through his sin to love Jesus more and sin less.
