The apostle Paul wrote this short letter to his protege, Titus, who he sent to the island of Crete. Crete was considered a pretty rough and tough place. Titus was sent to help strengthen new churches. Paul’s desire is also to help them grow in their faith and knowledge of truth. He believes deeper knowledge of the Bible (theology) impact their everyday lives.
