After Jesus’s resurrection, Luke 24 tells us that he appeared to his disciples on the road to Emmaus and in a room in Jerusalem. In both of those incidents, he makde ti clear that his death and resurrection were always part of God’s plan. They fulfilled what was written about the Messiah in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms
